The Fort Wayne Sport Club The Fort Wayne Sport Club was founded in 1927 by a group of soccer players who had come to Fort Wayne from Germany in the aftermath of World War I. Their goal was "the Promotion of Soccer Football and German culture."
	Today, the Sport Club is a hub of soccer activity in the Fort Wayne area, with programs for recreational and competitive soccer players from age 4 years to 30 and over. German culture is celebrated in the many social events enjoyed by club members.
