Germanfest Organ Concerts

The outstanding heritage of German organ composers will echo across Fort Wayne during Germanfest. These daily 30 minute recitals begin at 12:15PM - the perfect opportunity to spend your lunch hour listening to the area's finest organists performing German organ masterworks. Free admission; sponsored by the Fort Wayne Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Mon June 6

First Presbyterian Church • 300 W Wayne St

Kathy Miller and Irene Ator will be performing musical selections from famous German composers for your listening pleasure.

Tues June 7

Plymouth Cngegational Church UCC • 501 W Berry St

Maestro Robert Nance, organist, will perform organ masterpieces by renowned German composers for your listening pleasure.

Wed June 8

First Wayne Street UM Church • 300 E Wayne St

Dr. Geoffrey North, director of music & organist, will perform selections by various German composers on the famed Beckerath tracker organ from Hamburg, Germany, the only installation of its type in Indiana.

Thu June 9

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception • 1122 S Clinton St

Michael Dulac, organist, will perform organ music by various German composers on the Cathedral's large Wicks pipe organ.

Fri June 10

Queen of Angels Catholic Church • 1500 W State Blvd

Tom Remenschneider, director of music, will perform pieces composed by German composers over the past 200-300 years.
